Federal Minister for Religious Affairs Sardar Muhammad Yousuf on Wednesday urged Muslims to lead their lives in accordance with the teachings of Islam and the guidance of Holy Prophet Muhammad (PBUH), as a source of complete direction in both personal and collective affairs.
Speaking to a private news channel, the Minister said Pakistan was established in the name of Islam and, therefore, it was the responsibility of all to seek guidance from Islamic values while dealing with social, political and national challenges.
The minister also called upon political and national leaders to demonstrate Islamic values through their actions. He stressed that leaders should set a positive example for society and encourage citizens to adopt principles that promote unity, tolerance and mutual respect.
