Minister Salman Pays Surprise Visit To Mayo Hospital
Provincial Health Minister Khawaja Salman Rafique made a surprise visit to Mayo Hospital and inspected the OPD area, ENT ward, and slip counters on Tuesday. He reviewed the facilities provided to patients and their attendants.
The minister expressed strict notice of poor cleanliness in the hospital canteen and ordered action against those responsible. He directed the hospital administration to install fans for better ventilation and provide seating arrangements for patients’ families.
CEO Mayo Hospital, Professor Muhammad Shoaib Nabi, and Medical Superintendent, Dr. Abdul Madabar Rehan, accompanied him during the visit.
Khawaja Salman Rafique emphasized that, aligned with Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz Sharif’s vision, efforts are ongoing to provide the best healthcare facilities to the people. He stated that ensuring the best possible patient experience at government hospitals is a top priority.
