Minister Urges PTI To Focus On KP Governance

Federal Minister for Parliamentary Affairs Dr Tariq Fazal Chaudhry on Friday urged the leadership of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) and the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa government to prioritize addressing governance issues in the province instead of organizing a long march.
He expressed his view while speaking to a private television channel, stating that the PTI's planned protest march could potentially disrupt peace and create a law and order situation.
According to the minister, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa is grappling with significant challenges like terrorism, and he called for the provincial government to concentrate on resolving genuine problems faced by its people.
In response to a question about the PTI’s protest march, Dr Chaudhry emphasized that peace and security would remain paramount. He recommended that the PTI leadership opt for dialogue over measures that could lead to a law and order crisis in the country.
