Minor Girl Killed, Parents Injured In Road Accident
A girl was died while her parents sustained critical injuries when a cart pusher allegedly hit their motorcycle from the wrong side in the jurisdiction of Khanewal here on Wednesday.
According to Rescue 1122, the 3-year-old Zaibun, with her parents Amjad, 40, and Farah, 47, residents of 12/EB, was traveling to Perowal from their native area, 12-Meel, when the cart pusher suddenly appeared from a side and hit their motorcycle, causing the riders to fall on the road.
As a result, minor girl died on the spot, while her parents suffered critical injuries.
Rescue 1122 personnel shifted the injured and the deceased to the District Headquarters Hospital. The cart pusher fled the scene after the accident.
Police concerned were informed and registered a case against the absconding suspect, while efforts were underway to arrest him.
