Mirpur celebrates Eid Milad-un-Nabi (PBUH) with religious enthusiasm and devotion, showcasing profound love and reverence for the Holy Prophet.
Thousands of devotees gathered at the historic Chowk Shaheedan in Mirpur to participate in special arrangements marking the birth anniversary of the Prophet (PBUH). Roads, markets, and buildings were adorned with lights and flags, while religious and social organizations hosted gatherings, Naat programs, and other events.
Deputy Commissioner Mirpur Chaudhry Sajid Aslam, SSP Mirpur Khurram Iqbal, Al-Haj Ghulam Rasool Awami, and Advocate Riaz Alam joined thousands of citizens at the main event in Chowk Shaheedan. Participants recited Durood-o-Salam and chanted slogans expressing their joy and devotion.
Religious scholars and speakers highlighted key aspects of the Prophet’s (PBUH) life, teachings, and Seerah, emphasizing the importance of following his exemplary character and promoting peace, tolerance, brotherhood, and harmony in society. The administration and organizers ensured a smooth experience for participants while the large turnout and elaborate decorations reflected the deep religious devotion and enthusiasm of the people of Mirpur.
