Mohammed Bin Rashid Hails Arab Media Award’s 25-year Journey Of Excellence

DUBAI (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News / WAM - 15th Sep, 2026) His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai, stated that the Arab Media Award’s 25-year journey reflects its established credibility within the Arab media community, as well as its continuous role in recognizing excellence in journalism and the wider media sector.

H.H. made these remarks during the celebration of the Arab Media Award's Silver Jubilee. Launched 25 years ago under His Highness' vision and guidance, the Award has attracted thousands of media professionals seeking recognition on a prominent regional platform for media excellence.

He expressed:

“We believe media is a powerful force that can shape society’s awareness and its future. H.H. noted that the Award has adapted alongside significant changes in the media industry over the past quarter-century. He assured that it will continue to be a powerful catalyst for greater media excellence over the next 25 years, with Dubai remaining a hub where innovative ideas emerge, talent converges, and initiatives are launched with impactful global reach.

Congratulating the winners of the 25th edition of the Arab Media Award as well as all those recognized throughout its history, H.H. encouraged them to continue pursuing excellence and serve as role models for future generations of media professionals in upholding professional values. He concluded:
