BUREWALA, (APP – UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News – 15th Sep, 2026) Model Town Police busted a notorious motorcycle lifter gang and arrested four members, recovering 12 stolen motorcycles and mobile phones worth Rs 1.3 million from their possession.
According to police sources, the arrested suspects, from Burewala and Harappa, were involved in motorcycle theft incidents. During interrogation, police linked them to 15 cases of motorcycle theft.
SHO Model Town Khalid Mahmood Chohan said the recovered motorcycles were returned to their rightful owners after legal formalities. DPO Vehari Tasawur Iqbal emphasized that the district police were tightening the noose on organized and active criminal gangs, promising further intensified operations to protect citizens.
