SUKKUR, (APP – UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News – 9th Sep, 2026) Shaikh Ayaz University, Shikarpur hosted a distinguished international and national scholarly gathering titled "Mystics of Sindh: Global Message of Peace and Prosperity."
The event brought together eminent academics, intellectuals, scholars, and cultural voices from Pakistan and abroad to discuss the timeless philosophy of Sindh’s mystics and its modern-day implications.
Prof. Dr. Imamuddin Khoso, Vice Chancellor, University of Sufism and Modern Sciences, served as the Chief Guest while Prof. Dr. Naveed Ahmed Shaikh, Vice Chancellor, Shaikh Ayaz University, Shikarpur, welcomed the participants.
The gathering provided a platform to explore the universal values inherent in Sindh’s mystical tradition:

National speakers, including Dr. Amir Abbas Soomro, Dr. Saghar Abro, Saeed Ahmed Khaskheli, and Mian Ali Raza, explored various aspects of Sindh’s mystical heritage, emphasizing its potential to promote social harmony through love, compassion, tolerance, and mutual respect. They advocated for incorporating the message of Sindh’s mystics into education, research, literature, culture, and international academic collaboration.
International participants, from several countries, added a global perspective, underscoring the universal nature of Sindh’s mystical message. They highlighted its importance in fostering peace, love, equality, tolerance, and human solidarity.
