NA-168 By-Election: Cheema Group Declares Wali Dad As Its Candidate
Member of the National Assembly, Chaudhry Tariq Bashir Cheema, has announced that his son, Chaudhry Wali Dad Cheema, will contest the upcoming by-election from NA-168 Bahawalpur.
Addressing a press conference, Cheema stated his commitment to the restoration of Bahawalpur Province and his belief that fielding his son is a step towards introducing younger generations into politics and cultivating future leadership.
He highlighted his own political achievements, including serving as Nazim, being elected Member of the Provincial Assembly (MPA), and winning elections from Bahawalpur city. He noted that the development projects initiated during his tenure continue to benefit the public.
Cheema expressed that nominating Wali Dad Cheema demonstrates a dedication to promoting young leaders who can advocate for the people of Bahawalpur and work towards the province’s restoration, as well as addressing pressing regional issues.
