NAB Lahore Holds Open Court To Address Public Grievances
The National Accountability Bureau (NAB) Lahore on Friday held its monthly Open Court to hear public grievances and complaints, particularly those of affectees of fraudulent housing schemes and financial frauds.
This session was organized on the directions of NAB Lahore Director General (DG) Mirza Faran Baig, where approximately 350 members of the public and affectees presented their concerns directly to NAB officials.
As per a press release, the majority of complaints pertained to fraudulent housing schemes, including:
- Bismillah Garden
- Al-Noor Orchard
- Al-Jalil Garden
- SA Garden
- Omega Residencia
- Mid City
- Dream Housing
- Eden Housing
- Elite Town
- Pak-Arab Housing Scheme
- New Lahore City
- Zaitoon Group
Senior directors from all investigation wings of NAB Lahore participated, ensuring a thorough examination of the complaints on merit and timely redressal according to the law.
The bureau, adhering to its zero-tolerance policy against corruption and public fraud, emphasized its commitment to strict action against elements involved in corrupt practices and defrauding the public.
