Nations Cup 2026 Hockey Tournament Kicks Off In Kazan
ISLAMABAD, (APP – UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News – 27th Aug, 2026) The Nations Cup 2026 Hockey Tournament was inaugurated in Kazan where the Pakistan national hockey team, ‘Pakistan Whites’, participated in the colorful opening ceremony of the tournament.
Global Tournament Schedule
The global tournament will run from August 27 to September 1. Teams from Pakistan, Russia, Belarus, Russia U-21, and Uzbekistan will compete. The winner will be decided based on the overall points table of all teams.
Following the opening ceremony, the national team will play five matches over 5 consecutive days:
- August 28: vs Belarus at 8:00 PM
- August 29: vs Belarus at 4:00 PM
- August 30: vs Russia at 4:00 PM
- August 31: vs Uzbekistan at 8PM
- September 1: vs Russia at 6PM
