We have never rejected contacts or negotiations; the September 27 long march will definitely take place, as stated by PTI Chairman Barrister Gohar Ali Khan to journalists.

ISLAMABAD, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 22nd Sep, 2026) PTI Chairman Barrister Gohar Ali Khan asserted that his party had never closed the door to reconciliation and that contacts were still ongoing. He spoke to journalists outside Parliament, stating they had never refused contacts or negotiations, adding that press conferences followed meetings between the leadership and the parliamentary party.

He questioned, “If their demands are not addressed, how could they be asked to call off the protest?”

Barrister Gohar noted that court orders needed to be implemented for conditions to improve in democratic societies. He urged the state to take practical steps if it was serious about the matter.

The September 27 long march, according to him, will be peaceful. He expressed concerns over actions taken against Imran Khan's family and party workers, suggesting the state review its approach.

He concluded by stating that the current situation would harm both the state and democracy, emphasizing there should be no obstacles for the people.
