Mohsin Naqvi has every right to express his opinion, but he should present his position and participate in the debate in the National Assembly rather than at business forums or informal platforms, said Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari.

Addressing media representatives in London, he responded to Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi, stating that while Naqvi had the right to express his views, he rarely attended Parliament. He urged Naqvi to engage in an open debate on the creation of new provinces within the National Assembly, rather than presenting his position at business forums.

Bilawal Bhutto Zardari emphasized that crucial decisions regarding the country’s future, such as the creation of provinces and administrative systems, should be made solely by the National Assembly, not by any business forum or a select group of businesspeople. He called for all political parties to play an active role in Parliament on these national issues.

He further expressed concerns about the recent elections in Azad Kashmir, demanding a formal parliamentary committee to ensure fair and transparent elections going forward, with electoral reforms implemented to accurately reflect the people’s votes.
