A low-pressure area over the northwestern Bay of Bengal and adjoining coastal Odisha is expected to move westward, according to the Meteorological Department.

Karachi Weather Forecast

The Meteorological Department has forecast thunderstorms and rain in Karachi on September 14 and 15. They predict a new weather system forming over the Bay of Bengal will develop into a depression, potentially bringing rain to Karachi and various districts of Sindh next week.

The low-pressure area is currently situated over the northwestern Bay of Bengal and adjoining coastal Odisha, with westward movement anticipated. Intense heat is expected in Karachi for the next two days before the rains.

Lahore Heatwave

Meanwhile, intense heat persists in Lahore, where light winds are exacerbating the conditions. The weather is forecast to remain hot and dry over the next 24 hours, with maximum temperatures reaching 37 degrees Celsius and minimum temperatures staying at 27 degrees Celsius.
