Nine Held After Armed Clash Over Land Dispute
Police have arrested nine suspects allegedly involved in an armed clash and firing over a land dispute, recovering two Kalashnikovs and five pistols from their possession.
According to the police spokesperson, the two rival groups exchanged heavy gunfire during a dispute over a piece of land. When police arrived at the scene after receiving information about the incident, the suspects allegedly resisted the police as well.
A case was registered with Saddar Barooni against the suspects under charges including terrorism, resistance to police, obstruction on a public road, and other relevant provisions of law. Police stated that raids are being conducted to arrest the suspects’ other accomplices.
SP Saddar emphasized the police's zero-tolerance policy towards land grabbers, adding that strict action would be taken against such individuals without any discrimination.
