Nine Liquor Suppliers Arrested, 82 Bottles Seized
Rawalpindi, (APP - UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - September 21, 2026) Police have arrested nine alleged liquor suppliers in separate operations and recovered 82 bottles and 60 litres of liquor here on Monday.
According to a police spokesperson, Kahuta Police held eight alleged liquor suppliers and recovered 64 bottles and 60 litres of liquor from their possession. In a separate operation, Cantt Police arrested another alleged supplier and seized 18 bottles of liquor. Separate cases have been registered against the suspects, police said.
A police official stated that these actions are part of a broader effort to curb the supply and use of narcotics and other prohibited substances in the district. They reaffirmed their commitment to taking "all possible measures" to combat drugs and protect citizens from their harmful effects.
