No Bloodshed, Only Brotherhood: The Conquest of Makkah by the Holy Prophet (PBUH) Revolutionized Humanity
PESHAWAR, (APP – UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News – 22nd Aug, 2026) The month of Rabiul Awal brings profound joy to the global Muslim community, celebrating the birthday and life of the Holy Prophet Muhammad (PBUH), who united diverse tribes under a single religion and forgave all rivals after the historic conquest of Makkah.
Throughout history, Allah Almighty has sent a succession of prophets, from Hazrat Adam (AS) to Hazrat Isa (AS) and Hazrat Noah (AS) to Hazrat Ibrahim (AS), each guiding humanity, offering education, and promoting reform. The arrival of the final Holy Prophet, Muhammad (PBUH), marked the culmination of this divine guidance, introducing a unifying message that transcended previous revelations.
As Professor Dr Rashid Ahmad, Director of Sheikh Zayd Islamic Centre Peshawar, aptly noted, "The Holy Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) was sent as the last Prophet of Allah Almighty, uniting the warring tribes of the Arabian Peninsula under one religion." This unification was not merely political but sparked a profound spiritual, economic, and social transformation.
Dr. Ahmad highlighted the continuous role of Allah’s messengers in guiding humanity, educating them about divine commandments, and steering them towards success in this life and the afterlife. He stated that approximately 124,000 prophets have been sent throughout history, regardless of caste, color, or nationality, to bestow upon mankind the blessings of education, reform, and a prosperous, happy, and dignified life.
He traced the lineage of prophets, starting from Hazrat Adam (AS) to Hazrat Noah (AS), Hazrat Ibrahim (AS), Hazrat Ismail (AS), Hazrat Esa (AS), Hazrat Musa (AS), Hazrat Younus, and many others, culminating with Holy Prophet Muhammad (PBUH), the last Prophet of Allah Almighty.
"The entire world had been awaiting the arrival of the final Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) for centuries, and their long-held expectation was fulfilled when he emerged as the last Prophet of Allah Almighty," Dr. Ahmad emphasized. "After him, no other prophet is to come until the end of the world."
He further explained that the Shariah of the Holy Prophet (PBUH) is regarded as the final revelation from Allah, superseding all previous Shariahs, and his Seerah (life and teachings) is considered comprehensive and sufficient for all.
Despite challenges, the Holy Prophet (PBUH) persevered in preaching the Quran in Makkah.
