LAHORE, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 16th Sep, 2026) No significant findings have emerged from the mobile phones of national Test cricketers Mohammad Rizwan and Imam-ul-Haq.
According to Geo news sources, the NCCIA summoned Mohammad Rizwan and Imam-ul-Haq on a suo motu notice. The players’ mobile phones were taken into custody for forensic examination, and their messages and contacts were reviewed.
NCCIA sources said social media information related to dressing-room leaks is also part of the investigation. However, no significant findings emerged from the mobile phones during the initial probe.
Sources said further forensic analysis is underway at the Islamabad headquarters, focusing on tracing financial dealings and possible transactions.
NCCIA sources said the report would be sent to PCB officials, and the board would decide about the players in light of the report.
Sources said Imam-ul-Haq and Rizwan were questioned, but no formal questionnaire was provided.
