Nominations Open for 2027 Date Palm International Photography and Poetry Competitions
The General Secretariat of the Khalifa International Award for Date Palm and Agricultural Innovation, under the patronage of Sheikh Nahyan bin Mubarak Al Nahyan, has announced the opening of nominations for the 18th session of the Date Palm International Photography competition and the 11th session of the Date Palm International Poetry competition in 2027.
These competitions aim to:
- Reaffirm the cultural, heritage, and humanitarian significance of the date palm tree.
- Highlight the role of artistic and literary creativity in documenting its relationship with people, the environment, and society.
- Celebrate the date palm as a symbol of generosity, life, memory, and shared heritage.
Photography Competition:

Poetry Competition:
