Offer Orders, Motorcycles Distributed Among Health Staff In Khairpur

In compliance with court orders, offer orders were distributed among employees of the Health Department and motorcycles provided to field vaccinators at a ceremony held at the District Health Office, Khairpur on Friday.

District Health Officer Dr. Kaleemullah Sheikh, Assistant Commissioner Umamah Solangi, senior doctors, health officers, paramedical staff, and a large number of employees attended.

Offer orders were distributed among employees of various cadres from BPS-05 to BPS-15, including Accountants, Dispensers, Lady Health Visitors, Laboratory Technicians, Health Technicians, OT Technicians, X-Ray Technicians, Dental staff, Vaccinators, Midwives, and others. Motorcycles were handed over to vaccinators deputed in different Union Councils and remote areas of the district.

Speaking on the occasion, Commissioner Abid Saleem Qureshi stated that the Health Department plays a vital role in providing essential healthcare, particularly preventive healthcare and immunization. He noted that the issuance of offer orders in line with court directions and on merit would boost employee morale and enable them to perform their duties with greater commitment.

Highlighting the role of vaccinators as the frontline force, the Commissioner emphasized their travel to remote areas to vaccinate children and educate parents. He expressed the belief that providing motorcycles would improve their mobility and enhance immunization coverage. He directed health officials to make every effort to reach missed children and strengthen services at the Union Council level.

District Health Officer Dr. Kaleemullah Sheikh highlighted the importance of issuing offer orders on legitimate rights, an important step towards encouraging the workforce and improving efficiency. He stated that motorcycles would assist vaccinators in reaching inaccessible areas and ensuring no child is left unvaccinated. He encouraged vaccinators to educate parents about routine immunization and actively participate in all vaccination campaigns.

Later, Commissioner Qureshi, DHO Dr. Sheikh, and other officials congratulated the employees who received offer orders and motorcycles, expressing hope for dedicated service.

Earlier, Commissioner Qureshi, DHO Dr. Sheikh, and AC Umamah Solangi planted saplings at the nursery of the District Health Office.

Employees who received offer orders expressed appreciation, acknowledging that the orders were issued purely on merit without any recommendation or financial consideration, and praising the efforts of the District Health Office.
