Oil Prices Rise To Six-week High, Brent Settles At $97.31 Per Barrel

NEW YORK, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News / WAM – 08th Sep, 2026) Brent crude oil futures rose to settle at $97.31 per barrel on Monday, hitting a six-week high.
Brent crude futures rose $1.03, or 1.1%, to $97.31 per barrel, after reaching a high of $98.06—their highest level since July 24. US West Texas Intermediate (WTI) crude climbed *1.3%, or $1.17, to reach $92.65 per barrel. WTI futures had earlier risen to $93.29, also marking their highest level since July 24.
