One Killed, Five Injured In Karachi Firing Incident
KARACHI, (APP – UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News – 8th Sep, 2026) One person was killed while five others sustained injuries after a clash between two groups turned violent in the Fisheries Market area on Tuesday, according to police sources quoted by tv channels.
According to initial reports, the incident occurred after an exchange of heated words between members of the rival groups over a petty issue. The dispute escalated, resulting in gunfire in the market area. As a result, one person was killed on the spot while five others suffered injuries.
Rescue and police teams promptly reached the scene and shifted the body and injured persons to a nearby hospital.
Police have launched an investigation into the incident.
