Order To Verify 100% Student Data In Government Schools

The School Education Department (SED) has ordered 100% verification of student enrollment data.
Directive:
- School heads are directed to update the correct and latest enrollment data of students on an online portal.
- Head teachers will verify name-wise enrollment data for Pre-VIII and IX classes.
- Details of Science, Arts, and Matric Tech groups in Class IX need to be entered separately, categorized by medium (Urdu or English).
Timeframe:
- The verification and certification process must be completed within 3 days.
- CEOs are responsible for data collection and verification, ensuring adequate stocks of free textbooks.
- Requirements for textbooks will be determined based on the newly verified enrollment data for the upcoming academic year (2027-28).
Deadline and Portal:
- Enrollment data and records of additional free textbooks must be completed by September 8, 2026.
- A dedicated online portal has been launched to rectify errors or omissions in enrollment data.
