Over 10,000 Citizens Benefited From Police Khidmat Markaz Chiniot in August
CHINIOT, (APP – UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News – 10th Sep, 2026) According to the vision of Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz Sharif, practical steps are being taken for better public service delivery. Police services are being provided to citizens with modern facilities at the Police Khidmat Markaz Chiniot, based on the Punjab’s initiative.
Performance Report for August
The performance report of the Police Khidmat Markaz for August has been released. Over 10,000 citizens benefited from various police services last month. A breakdown includes:
- 2,500 learner permits
- 1,149 learner permit renewals
- 3,567 new regular licenses
- 30 new international driving licenses
During August, the police also registered:
- 1,782 police verifications
- 538 character certificates
- 139 tenancy registrations
- 79 missing reports
Additionally, vehicle and mobile verifications, employee verification, and other police services were provided.
District Police Officer Dr. Naveed Atif stated that all possible steps are being taken to improve public service delivery and promote public-friendly policing. He highlighted that 15 different facilities are offered to citizens under one roof at the Police Khidmat Markaz, ensuring timely guidance and services according to modern requirements.
