Pakistan Edge South Korea 4-3 To Win First Match Of Pak-Korea Test Series

Pakistan secured a thrilling 4-3 victory over South Korea in sudden death in the opening match of the Pak-Korea Test Series after a nerve-wracking contest that ended 5-5 in regulation time.
The match began at a fast and aggressive pace with both teams launching continuous attacks on each other’s goal, providing spectators with high-quality hockey, said a press release. In regulation time, Pakistan delivered a strong performance with all goals coming from the field. Sufiyan Khan scored a brace, while Ahmad Nadeem, Muhammad Imad and Rana Waheed added one field goal each. South Korea mounted a strong comeback to level the match at 5-5 by full time.
With the score tied after 60 minutes, the match proceeded to a shootout which also finished 3-3. The contest was then decided in sudden death, where Pakistan’s goalkeeper made a crucial save and Pakistan converted to seal a 4-3 win.
