Pakistan in 2047: The Future in the Hands of Today's Youth, Says Sindh Governor
KARACHI, (APP - UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 30th Aug, 2026) The Governor of Sindh, Syed Muhammad Nehal Hashmi, addressed the fifth graduation ceremony of the Denning Institute of Technology and Entrepreneurship, sharing profound insights.
He began by praising Quaid-e-Azam Muhammad Ali Jinnah, describing him as a visionary leader who, through his political acumen, struggle, and leadership, secured an independent homeland for Muslims. Hashmi emphasized that Jinnah's involvement in politics was pivotal to the creation of Pakistan.
The Governor encouraged young people to exercise their right to vote responsibly and play active roles in the country's democratic process, aligning with the Prime Minister's priorities. He highlighted the Digital Youth Hub, offering various opportunities such as loans, scholarships, employment, training, and more.
"Under the Prime Minister’s Vision 2047, youth are at the forefront of Pakistan's future," Hashmi stated. The vision emphasizes that Pakistan's future rests in the hands of today's youth, who should empower themselves through education, technology, skills, and strong character.
He recalled Pakistan's historical victories under the leadership of the Field Marshal and the Makkah Agreement, which aimed to promote peace. Congratulating the graduates, Hashmi stressed that obtaining a degree is merely the beginning of a new phase in practical life. He urged young people to utilize their education and abilities for Pakistan's development, strengthening the economy, and improving society.
