Pakistan Strongly Condemns Drone Attacks on Saudi East-West Pipeline

The drone attacks were an open violation of Saudi Arabia’s sovereignty and territorial integrity, and a serious threat to peace, security, and stability in the region, according to the Foreign Office spokesperson.

Pakistan has strongly condemned drone attacks on Saudi Arabia’s East-West Pipeline. The Foreign Office spokesperson stated that the pipeline in the Riyadh and Medina regions was damaged in the drone attacks, which also injured civilians.
Targeting civilian infrastructure in Saudi Arabia is a violation of international law, the spokesperson added.
In a statement, the Foreign Office spokesperson expressed that:
The drone attacks were also an open violation of Saudi Arabia’s sovereignty and territorial integrity… posing a serious threat to peace, security, and stability in the region.
Pakistan fully supports Saudi Arabia’s sovereignty, territorial integrity, security, and prosperity, and reiterates its complete solidarity with the Saudi leadership, government, and brotherly people, the spokesperson said. Pakistan will continue sincere efforts for lasting peace and stability in the region.
Meanwhile, Turkish Foreign Minister Hakan Fidan called Saudi Foreign Minister Prince Faisal bin Farhan to discuss cooperation towards regional stability, joint efforts to reduce tensions, and addressing ongoing tensions in the region, given that the East-West Oil Pipeline had been targeted by attacks originating from Iraq while Saudi Arabia also faced Houthi attacks.
