Pakistan’s Ambassador Presents Credentials to President of Dominican Republic
ISLAMABAD, (APP – UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News – August 22, 2026) Pakistan’s ambassador Rizwan Saeed Sheikh presented his credentials to Luis Abinader, President of the Dominican Republic during a ceremony at the Presidential Palace in Santo Domingo, accrediting him as Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Pakistan to the Dominican Republic.
During the presentation ceremony, both sides reaffirmed their commitment to exploring avenues of collaboration in trade, investment, IT, tourism, and people-to-people exchanges to foster enduring friendship between Pakistan and the Dominican Republic, said a message received here on Saturday.
Ambassador Rizwan Saeed Sheikh conveyed greetings and best wishes of Pakistani leadership to President Abinader and expressed gratitude for the warm welcome and hospitality extended to him.
President Abinader commended Pakistan’s positive contribution to global peace and conveyed full support to our leadership in their "noble and impactful" endeavors.
