Passenger Held For Illegal Travel To Oman

The Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) Immigration Wing in Multan arrested a passenger, Kashif Ali, for traveling to Oman illegally. According to FIA officials, Ali arrived in Multan from Oman on flight OV537 and was found to have no travel record in the system upon immigration clearance.
During his preliminary questioning, Ali admitted to taking an illegal route to Oman, claiming that a job agent had promised him employment abroad and facilitated his journey with the promise of a hotel job. After his arrival, Kashif Ali was arrested by Omani police, detained, and subsequently deported back to Pakistan.
The FIA Immigration Multan referred the passenger to the Anti-Human Trafficking Circle, Multan, for further investigation. FIA officials assured continued action against those involved in illegal immigration and human trafficking.
