PD National Cricket Championship: Regional Teams Announce Trials

MULTAN, (APP - UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 16th Sep, 2026) Regional teams have announced trials for the formation of squads for the upcoming PD National cricket Championship, scheduled to be held next month under the auspices of the Pakistan Physical Disability Cricket Association (PPDCA).
According to PPDCA Secretary Amiruddin Ansari, the PD National Cricket Championship will be played in different cities across the country next month, with the final schedule to be announced soon. Teams from all regions affiliated with the association will participate in the championship and compete in Grade-I and Grade-II competitions. He said trials for the selection of regional teams were being conducted as part of the preparations for the championship.
Trials for the Islamabad Physical Disability Cricket Team will be held on September 18 (Friday) at Shalimar Cricket Ground, while trials for the selection of the Bahawalpur PD Cricket Team will be conducted on September 20 at the historic Dring Stadium, Bahawalpur.
Amiruddin Ansari urged all physical disability cricketers from the Islamabad and Bahawalpur regions to participate actively in the trials according to the schedule announced by their respective regional officials.
