Peace Jirga and Open Court Held in Proa to Address Residents’ Issues

The district administration has organized a peace jirga and open court in Tehsil Proa to directly address the concerns of residents. This initiative took place on September 8, 2026, with Additional Deputy Commissioner (General) Muhammad Arsalan presiding over the session.

Attended by Additional Assistant Commissioner Proa Adeel Khan, local elders, notables, and a large number of residents, the gathering focused on the current law and order situation. Participants offered suggestions to strengthen peace and security, with Muhammad Arsalan assuring that the administration would collaborate with the community and engage in dialogue to achieve lasting peace.

Residents voiced various issues concerning their localities, which the administration actively listened to. Directives were issued to relevant departments, ensuring prompt resolution to several concerns.

The Additional Deputy Commissioner emphasized the value of regular peace jirgas and open courts, highlighting their role in enhancing coordination between the administration and the public, thus improving service delivery. He reaffirmed the administration’s commitment to continuing these engagements and tackling genuine public concerns.
