Peshawar Police To Tighten Monitoring Of Over 100 Hostels, Guest Houses

Peshawar Police have decided to step up surveillance of more than 100 hostels and guest houses in Peshawar Cantonment and University Town, and have directed the police and Special Branch to strengthen security measures.

According to police, authorities will:

  • Check the daily records of residents and visitors at hostels and guest houses.
  • Make registration of all incoming and outgoing individuals mandatory.

They will specifically monitor around three dozen guest houses and more than 100 hostels in University Town, as well as those located in the cantonment and University Town areas.

Police officials have stated they will take action against any hostel or guest house found involved in suspicious activities. They have also implemented a zero-tolerance policy against illegal activities and warned of strict legal action against violators.
