Petrol and Diesel Prices Rise by Up to Rs1.08 Per Litre
ISLAMABAD, (APP – UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News – 2nd Sep, 2026) The government has increased the prices of petrol and high-speed diesel (HSD) by up to Rs1.08 per litre, effective September 2, 2026.
According to a notification from the Oil and Gas Regulatory Authority (OGRA), the price of HSD has been boosted by Rs0.51 per litre, reaching Rs370.92 per litre. The price of Motor Spirit (petrol) has also gone up, by Rs1.08 per litre, to Rs343.87 per litre.
These revised prices will be in effect until September 2, 2026, under the updated petroleum pricing mechanism.
