He directed all relevant stakeholders to make advance arrangements and ensure the smooth movement of petroleum products.

Additional Secretary Railways assured the meeting that Pakistan Railways would prioritize providing train bogies for high-speed diesel (HSD) transportation, particularly to guarantee continuity of supplies in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa during any disruptions to road transportation.

The Minister instructed Pakistan State Oil (PSO) to prepare for adequate fuel availability at its depots. PSO reported having already arranged additional stocks at critical depots to prevent any supply disruptions.

OGRA informed the meeting about a dedicated control room established for crisis management and coordination, ensuring continuous petroleum product availability at retail outlets.

Malik also directed steps to be taken to ensure uninterrupted crude oil supply and product dispatch for Attock Refinery Limited (ARL) to prevent any shutdown due to logistical constraints.

The meeting reviewed the payment mechanism under the Prime Minister’s Fuel Relief Scheme. It was reported that, as of Thursday, payments had been made to over 8,500 out of approximately 10,000 petrol pumps, with this number increasing daily.

Malik instructed the swift resolution of minor issues like account number mismatches to expedite payments to remaining eligible pumps and ensure continued public access to the scheme benefits.

He further directed OGRA to take action against any petrol pump found denying eligible customers the fuel relief provided under the scheme.

Pakistan Petroleum Dealers Association Chairman Malik Khuda Baksh expressed satisfaction with the scheme's successful implementation and assured ongoing association support. He stated that dealers are fully cooperating with the government’s efforts.
