According to PHA officials, parks located in densely populated areas would be given priority, particularly those where residents have limited access to recreational facilities.

The selected parks include:

  • Edhi Park
  • Arshi Masjid Park
  • Qari Khushi Muhammad Park
  • Gulzar-e-Fatima Park
  • Bihari Colony Park
  • Butt Park
  • Gujjar Park
  • Children’s Park Committee Chowk

  • Al-Furqan Park.

The proposed upgradation would focus on improving basic recreational and public facilities, including walking tracks, children’s play areas, lighting, plantation, landscaping, and seating arrangements.

The authority is currently completing the necessary planning and approval process, while work would be initiated after approval and release of the required funds.

Officials said the exact commencement date and allocation for individual parks would be finalized after approval of the proposed funding.
