PM Sharif Condemns Houthi Attacks on Saudi Arabia

Pakistan stands shoulder to shoulder with its brotherly country Saudi Arabia in this difficult hour, said Shehbaz Sharif, expressing complete solidarity with King Salman and Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman.

Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif has strongly condemned the drone and missile attacks carried out by Houthi rebels on Saudi Arabia’s urban areas and economic installations, reaffirming Pakistan’s unwavering commitment to the security and sovereignty of the brotherly Islamic country. He expressed his best wishes and prayers for the speedy and complete recovery of all those injured in the attacks.
In a statement posted on social media, Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif described the attacks by the Houthi group Ansar Allah as a cowardly act and said Pakistan stood shoulder to shoulder with its brotherly country, Saudi Arabia, during this difficult time.
He further stated that these attacks posed a serious threat to peace and security in the region, adding that targeting innocent civilians and economic installations was unacceptable and had injured several people. Pakistan, he emphasized, renewed its complete and sustained support for the protection of Saudi Arabia’s security, sovereignty, and territorial integrity, and expressed complete and unwavering solidarity with Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman, and all the brothers and sisters of Saudi Arabia.
