PM’s Petrol Relief, RTA Mirpur Apprises Rickshaw Union Of Registration Procedure

(Mirpur, AJK) (APP - UrduPoint / Pakistan Point news - 17th Sep, 2026) Secretary of the Azad Jammu and Kashmir (AJK) Regional Transport Authority (RTA) Mirpur, Waqar Ahmed Khokhar, briefed representatives of the Rickshaw Union on Thursday about the procedure, eligibility criteria, and registration process for availing the petrol relief announced by the Prime Minister of Pakistan.
The briefing took place at the RTA office following directions from Commissioner Mirpur Division and Chairman RTA Mirpur, Raja Tahir Mumtaz Khan.
Khokhar informed the union representatives about the necessary steps and documentation required for registration under the relief package, urging them to guide their members regarding the process. He emphasized that eligible drivers needed to complete the necessary information and documents promptly.
He stated that the government's relief package aimed to alleviate the impact of petroleum prices and provide financial assistance to individuals in the transport sector.
