PNCA Organizes Mehfil-e-Milad For Women To Mark Eid Milad-un-Nabi

The Pakistan National Council of the Arts (PNCA) organized a Mehfil-e-Milad for women to commemorate Eid Milad-un-Nabi (Peace Be Upon Him) on Tuesday. The event aimed to:

- Qirat: The sacred gathering began with Qirat, led by renowned television anchor and Naat Khawan Professor Salma Khan.
- Naat Khawani: Renowned Naat Khawans from the twin cities, including Mehmooda Qamar, Sabeen Younas, Rukhsana Sehar, Alina Noor, Neelum Shehzadi, and Tasneem Akhtar, performed heartfelt Naats in praise of the Prophet (PBUH).
- Poetry: Mehmooda Ghazia, a renowned poet, also contributed with her Naat.
- Speech by Islamic Scholar: Madam Iffat Khalid emphasized the importance and blessings of reciting Darood-e-Pak.
- Address by Parliamentary Secretary: Farrah Naz Akbar, Parliamentary Secretary for National Heritage and Culture Division, spoke about the significance of remembering and expressing love for Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) and the role of Darood-e-Pak in Islamic teachings.
