Police Arrest Two Drug Peddlers, Recover Gutka, Mainpuri

Police in their continued drive against narcotics and criminals on Wednesday arrested two drug suppliers and recovered a significant quantity of gutka.
A Police Spokesman informed that under the instructions of DIG Hyderabad Range Tariq Razak Khan Dharejo and SSP Hyderabad Shahzeb Chachar, Pinyari Police successfully foiled a large-scale supply of gutka. SHO Pinyari Ayub Odho, led by SDPO Waqas Durrani, along with a police team, acted on a tip-off and apprehended Muhammad Irfan Siddiqui and Abdul Samad Qaimkhani, who were distributing gutka via a Corolla car.
During the search, the police seized 94 packets, approximately 9,400 sachets of gutka, and 200 pieces of manpuri from the vehicle. The recovered goods, along with the vehicle used for supply, were taken into police custody by Pinyari police while a case was registered against the accused under the Gutka and Mainpuri Act.
Further information regarding the supply chain of gutka and mainpuri, as well as the criminals’ prior criminal records, is being investigated.
