Shabir Shah, son of Aleema Khan, sister of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf founder Imran Khan, shared a concerning incident where his family was subjected to a police operation. According to Shah, police detained them for approximately two and a half hours, questioning their identities.

"They took my aunt along—I would call it abduction. Is taking women from their home at around 1:30 a.m. in front of their children without any clear justification legally valid?" questioned Shah.

He further stated that his cousins and staff were sent back, while his aunt was taken away. Shah alleged that this treatment could be considered abduction, as it involves detaining someone without prior notice or a legal order.

All three sisters were reportedly treated in the same manner, with an attempt made to take two young children along during the operation, but they were not taken after the children's mother protested.

Family members and lawyers are not permitted to meet with the detained women, despite a petition being filed. Shah expressed concern about the women's access to their required medicines and legal representation, questioning why they are being denied these basic rights.
