PPP Has Serious Reservations About PML-N Government: No Cooperation, Says Sharmila Faruqui

The Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) leader, Sharmila Faruqui, has expressed serious concerns about the PML-N government and has ceased cooperation with it. She claims that the government is incapable of handling any matters effectively.
PPP’s Stand:
- Withdrawal of Cooperation: The PPP has seriously reserved its stance towards the PML-N government and has withdrawn its support.
- National Assembly Session: Initially planned for September 21, a National Assembly session is no longer taking place due to ongoing reservations.
- Holding Politicians Accountable: Bilawal Bhutto suggests that issues related to governmental failures and provincial matters should be discussed in Parliament, ensuring political accountability.
PTI’s Perspective:
Shaukat Yousafzai, a PTI leader, stated that they don’t require any special machinery for their long march as the people of Pakistan will support them. He claimed that the government’s support lies elsewhere and denied any threat to the current administration.
He further emphasized the right to peaceful protest, not exclusive to the PTI, and accused the government of utilizing public resources against its citizens. Yousafzai expressed defiance, stating, "Let them arrest us; Sohail Afridi is not afraid, and neither are we."
Khyber Pakhtunkhwa’s View:
Junaid Akbar, PTI Khyber Pakhtunkhwa President, spoke on Samaa News, regarding Rana Sanaullah’s statement about armed groups. He questioned the authenticity of Rana’s claim, referring to previous reports linking him to drug mafia networks.
Akbar raised doubts about the validity of recent reports, suggesting a pattern of similar accusations against Rana Sanaullah.
