PPP, PML-N Coordination Committees Meet With Senior Leaders in Attendance

Members of both parties’ coordination committees expressed satisfaction with consensus decisions and agreed to work together in the national interest.

A meeting of the coordination committees of the Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) and Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) was held at Governor House. Leaders from both parties discussed various issues.
PPP Coordination Committee:
- Former Prime Minister Raja Pervaiz Ashraf
- Punjab Governor Sardar Saleem Haider
- PPP Central Punjab General Secretary Hassan Murtaza
- Qamar Zaman Kaira
- Ali Qasim Gilani
PML-N Coordination Committee:
- Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Muhammad Ishaq Dar
- National Assembly Speaker Ayaz Sadiq
- Prime Minister’s Adviser on Political Affairs Rana Sanaullah
- Khawaja Saad Rafique
- Punjab Senior Provincial Minister Maryam Aurangzeb
Punjab Inspector General Rao Abdul Karim also attended the meeting.
Members of the coordination committees expressed satisfaction with the consensus decisions taken so far. The PPP and PML-N also agreed to continue working together in the national interest. The meeting also discussed the release of funds for development projects and other matters.
