Prophet’s Seerah Offers Complete Guidance For Humanity, Say Scholars

HYDERABAD, ( APP - UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 1st Sep, 2026) The life and teachings of the Holy Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) offer a timeless model of compassion, justice, peace, and social responsibility. They can guide young people in character-building and fostering a responsible society, according to scholars and educators.
These insights were shared at a Seerah conference titled "Seerat ul Nabi : A Complete Role Model of Life and Guidance for Humanity", organized by the Department of Islamic Studies at Sindh Agriculture University (SAU), Tandojam, in collaboration with the Students Teachers Engagement Program (STEP). The event took place at Dr A.M. Shaikh Auditorium Hall.
Prof. Dr. Aijaz Ali Khooharo, Dean of the Faculty of Agricultural Social Sciences, chaired the conference and emphasized that the blessed life of the Holy Prophet (PBUH) served as an unparalleled example of morality, compassion, justice, love, and service to humanity.
Speakers delved into various aspects of the Seerah, emphasizing the Prophet’s (PBUH) exemplary character, high moral values, social conduct, and guidance for humanity.
- Mufti Maulana Ghulam Hussain highlighted that the life of the Holy Prophet (PBUH) is a complete source of guidance for all humanity, advocating for adherence to his teachings to promote peace, love, tolerance, brotherhood, and service.
- Prof Dr. Aijaz Ali Khooharo in his presidential address noted that the Holy Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) was the beloved of Allah Almighty, and his blessed life embodied the highest standards of human conduct. He mentioned the contributions of scholars and poets worldwide, particularly Hazrat Shah Abdul Latif Bhittai, who expressed their devotion through poetry and intellectual works.
- Other speakers included Dr Zaheer Khan and Abdul Muneeb Brohi.
The conference featured speech competitions for male and female students from different faculties on the theme "Seerat Ul Nabi : A Complete Role Model of Life and Guidance for Humanity". Numerous students participated, showcasing their understanding of the Prophet’s teachings and exemplary character through their speeches.
Naat recitation competitions were also organized, with students presenting devotional Naats in honor of the Holy Prophet (PBUH). Shields and certificates of recognition were awarded to first, second, and third-place winners in both categories.
Dean Dr. Ghiyasuddin Shah Rashdi, Dr Abdul Mubeen Lodi, Dr Javed Shaikh, Dr Mahmooda Brohi, Dr Erum Saba, and Dr Ghul also attended the event.
