PU Awards 10 PhD Degrees In Various Disciplines
Punjab University (PU) has awarded 10 scholars PhD degrees in various disciplines after the approval of their theses. This was shared on August 18, 2026, by a university spokesperson.
The recipients include:
- Muhammad Ibraheem, son of Shafeeq Ur Rahman, in Biochemistry.
- Mohammad Yasir, son of Mohammad Yousaf Nasir, in History.
- Ahmad Azeem, son of Muhammad Ayub, in Islamic Studies.
- Syeda Narjis Sherazi and Asma Zafar, daughters of Syed Kafait Hussain Sherazi and Zafar Iqbal Butt respectively, in Applied Psychology.
Other awardees are:
- Filza Qambar, daughter of Ghulam Qambar, in Business Administration.
- Faheem Akhtar, son of Muhammad Ali Akhtar, in Gender Studies.
- Muhammad Usman, son of Muhammad Irshad, in Sociology.
- Muhammad Saleem Akhtar, son of Muhammad Akhtar, in Sports Sciences and Physical Education.
- Asma Iqbal, daughter of Muhammad Iqbal Cheema, in Zoology.
