PU IER Holds Mehfil-e-Milad Mustafa
Punjab University's Institute of Education and Research (IER) organised a Mehfil-e-Milad Mustafa here on Wednesday.
Director IER Prof Dr Abdul Qayyum Chaudhry, Chairperson Department of Secondary Education Dr Abida Nasreen, faculty members, and a large number of students attended the ceremony.
During the event, Naats in praise of the Holy Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) were recited, expressing devotion and love for the Prophet.
Addressing the gathering, Prof Dr Abdul Qayyum stated that success in this world and the hereafter can only be achieved by adhering to the teachings of the Holy Prophet Muhammad (PBUH). He emphasised that the Seerah and teachings of the Prophet offer the best guidance for all humanity.
The ceremony also welcomed newly admitted students, with prayers offered for the unity of the Muslim Ummah, Pakistan's security and prosperity, and a bright future for the students.
