Punjab Changes Medical Superintendents Of Two Teaching Hospitals

The Department of Specialized Healthcare and Medical Education has changed the Medical Superintendents of two government teaching hospitals in Punjab.

According to a notification issued here on Wednesday, Professor Dr Hafiz Moinuddin, Medical Superintendent/Professor of Anatomy (BS-20) at Jinnah Hospital Lahore, has been removed from his post with immediate effect. He has also been relieved of his duties as Professor of Anatomy at Allama Iqbal Medical College, Lahore.

Dr Zeeshan Haider, Additional Principal Medical Officer (BS-19), has been assigned the additional charge of Medical Superintendent, Jinnah Hospital Lahore, with immediate effect and until further orders.

Meanwhile, Dr Mansoor Ahmed Afghan, Additional Principal Medical Officer (BS-19) and Medical Superintendent of Allama Iqbal Teaching Hospital, Dera Ghazi Khan, has also been removed from his post with immediate effect. He has been directed to report to the Department of Specialized Healthcare and Medical Education.

Dr Muhammad Zafar Iqbal, Additional Principal Medical Officer (BS-19), Allama Iqbal Teaching Hospital, Dera Ghazi Khan, will temporarily take over as Medical Superintendent of the hospital in addition to his existing duties with immediate effect and until further orders.
