The Punjab Home Department has requested the federal government to suspend mobile and internet services in specific areas of Attock and Rawalpindi, according to a private TV channel. This request comes in anticipation of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI)'s long march on September 27.

The department has written to the federal government, citing a communication from the Central Police Office Punjab, Lahore, regarding expected law and order challenges. Specifically, they've requested internet jamming at several locations in Rawalpindi, including Brahma, Bahtar, Taxila, Wah Saddar, and Chakri.

Sources within the Punjab Home Department revealed that the request includes disabling mobile and internet services, along with weakening signals, especially in the mentioned areas.
