Qaumi Mushaira Organized by Urdu Markaz Held at Frere Hall
Urdu Markaz organized a magnificent Qaumi Mushaira (national poetry gathering) on Tuesday at the historic Frere Hall. The event was presided over by renowned poet, Sahar Ansari. Traditional carpet seating added to the literary and traditional ambiance of the gathering.
Renowned poets, including Anwar Shoor, Abbas Tabish, Iqbal Khawar, Nina Adil, Javed Saba, Khalid Moin, Ahmed Salman, Ambrain Haseeb Anbar, and Khalid Irfan, captivated the audience with their poems. Khalid Irfan’s humorous poetry brought laughter to the event.
The audience was enthusiastic, with participants from various walks of life, including:
