RD Provincial Ombudsman Inspects Government High School Latifabad

Regional Director Provincial Ombudsman Sindh, Syed Sajjad Haider Shah, on the special directives of Provincial Ombudsman Muhammad Sohail Ahmed Rajput (Sitara-e-Imtiaz), visited Hotchand Mal Chand Gurbakhshani Government High School, Latifabad No. 7, Hyderabad.
During his visit, the Regional Director (RD) inspected the school building, teaching environment, and administrative affairs. He visited various classrooms and interacted with teachers and students to understand the quality of education, teaching methods, and available facilities.
According to a press release, the RD directed Chief Headmaster Imdad Ali Gopang to enhance educational standards along modern lines. He emphasized the need for an effective administrative strategy to familiarize students with contemporary requirements, improve teaching methods, monitor teacher performance, and ensure regular student attendance.
Observations during the visit revealed that repair work was underway in the school building, while student attendance was lower than the enrolled student count. The RD directed the school administration to take immediate corrective measures to visibly improve educational performance, discipline, and the institution’s reputation.
At the visit’s conclusion, an awareness session was held in the school auditorium with the Chief Headmaster, Headmistress, teachers, and administrative staff. Participants received a detailed overview of the Provincial Ombudsman Sindh’s objectives and functions, the complaint redressal mechanism, and the online complaint registration system. Their questions were answered satisfactorily.
