Reportage Termed Good Addition to Hindko Literature
PESHAWAR, (APP – UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News – September 7, 2026) Researchers, poets, and writers from Pakistan and abroad have lauded “Social Media”, a reportage by young writer Muhammad Nauman Qayyum, as a valuable addition to Hindko literature.
They shared these perspectives during an online critical session hosted by the Gandhara Hindko Board, a literary and cultural organization led by retired civil servant Ejaz Ahmad Qureshi. This marked the 686th session of the board, where Nauman Qayyum, also a journalist and columnist, presented his work for review.
The participants described the reportage as unique as it was the inaugural piece to be presented at a session under the board’s Hindko Literary Gathering. They praised the Gandhara Hindko Board for organizing such literary gatherings, expressing hope that these online critical sessions would enhance Hindko literature’s international presence and its prospects.
Recalling the past, the board’s General Secretary Muhammad Ziauddin initiated a series of literary and critical meetings under the Hindko Literary Gathering three decades ago, which continues to this day.
